Perfect Stay for Visiting Padre Pio with a Group
I stayed here with a group during our visit to the Padre Pio Sanctuary, and the location couldn't have been more perfect — it's just a short walk across the street to the sanctuary, which made it easy to go back and forth at any time.

The view from the hotel was amazing, especially during sunrise — truly breathtaking and serene.

There’s a cozy café right next to the hotel that offers ice cream, coffee, and even liquor — a great spot to relax and unwind after a long day.

Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, with plenty of options to choose from.
The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable — ideal for a good night’s rest. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone planning a pilgrimage to Padre Pio.

The room was small with two twin beds that were narrower than a standard twin bed. The room contained a desk and chair. The bathroom was small with not much counter space or room in the shower. The room didn’t contain a safe. However, it was clean and well-kept and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was pretty good with several choices. The dinner was not that good. We came with a pilgrimage group and one night, approx. 4/6 of us at our table didn’t eat the slice of beef as it was tough and not good. It may have just been what was served to a group, but still, it reflects the hotel and if I were to travel here again, I would not eat dinner at the hotel. The best thing about the hotel is its location. It is very close to the church. Walk outside the hotel and take the stairs up or an elevator which I heard costs 1 euro to go up or down. (I am not clear why there would be a charge to use an elevator.) Once up the stairs (or elevator) the church is just a short walk up the hill, turn left and then another short walk.

No coffee or kettle in room.|Four stars rating by the entrance is a joke. This hotel is equivalent to AAA one star at best.|Wish we stayed at Paradiso.

Excellent service by hotel staff and restaurant waiters. They were very friendly and welcoming, and food was served quickly in the restaurant. The rooms are nice and cosy, with comfortable beds too. It is also very close to the Church which is within 5 minutes walkable distance. The view from the balcony outside was simply breathtaking and amazing. Highly recommended!

This hotel was the perfect location to visit, it was very close walking distance to see Padre Pio, even with my torn meniscus. I just took my time. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. We had dinner and the quality of food and service was exceptional. The local wine was excellent. I highly recommend this place.

|I can not say enough good things about this hotel. We arrived in Italy on Thursday afternoon. We had a horrible experience with the rental car place at the airport that held up our trip by a few hours. We called Hotel Vittoria to inform them that we would be arriving late. When we called, we spoke with Angela, who was extremely welcoming and told us not to worry about our late arrival. She offered to put dinner aside for us because their kitchen would be closed by the time we arrived. When we arrived we were welcomed by Luigi. He was wonderful. Made us feel like we just arrived home. We had an excellent meal. We couldn’t have had a better ending to our day despite all the troubles we had before arriving to the hotel. The hotel room was spotless. Extremely clean, beds were comfortable and was spacious enough for three people. We can not thank this hotel enough for their warm hospitality and we truly appreciate it. We will definitely return when we come back to San Giovani Rotondo.

This is a wonderful hotel to stay at while visiting the shrine of Padre Pio. It was so close we walked to the shrine. We loved our stay at Hotel Vittoria. I was there with my two daughters. I even celebrated my birthday with a outstanding dinner and Birthday dessert at their wonderful restaurant on the premises. The older gentleman, the head maître d’ at the restaurant was so nice. He provided excellent service for dinner and breakfast the next morning! They serve a complementary breakfast that is really delicious. The man at the front desk, was so helpful. He helped us with information about Padre Pio’s shrine, as well with Saint Michaels cave, an hour north of the shrine. The Hotel was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here!

We loved our stay at Hotel Vittoria during our two day pilgrimage to the place of Padre Pio. This hotel is lovely and clean. Angela, who greeted us without a reservation, made us feel very welcome. The restaurant is quite nice. Parking is excellent. And the proximity to the Shrine is a huge plus. You will be glad you stayed at Hotel Vittoria.
